Dhaka, March 20 -- The Islamic Republic of Iran is keen to strengthen bilateral and multilateral relations with Bangladesh, with a particular emphasis on economic and cultural cooperation.
This development came as Mansour Chavoshi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, paid a courtesy call on Foreign Secretary Md Jashim Uddin at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the Foreign Secretary recalled the deep historical and cultural ties between Bangladesh and Iran, reaffirming the potential for enhanced collaboration in various sectors.
