Dhaka, March 11 -- The International Women's Day was observed on Friday in Kishoreganj in a befitting manner like elsewhere across the world with a fresh call to bring an end to repression on women, ensure equal rights and remove all sorts of violence, disparity, discrimination and investment in women.
Kishoreganj district administration including Department of Women's Affairs (DWA) supported by NGOs, socio-cultural and professional bodies arranged a colourful rally, discussion, Joyeeta reception, postering, handbills distribution and cultural function marking the day.
