Dhaka, April 8 -- The general point-to-point inflation rate in Bangladesh rose to 9.35 per cent in March 2025, up slightly from 9.32 per cent in February 2025.
The general point-to-point inflation rate in Bangladesh has reached 9.35 per cent in March, 2025 slightly up from 9.32 per cent in February, 2025.
According to the latest data from the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS), the slight rise was mainly driven by an increase in non-food inflation.
In March 2025, the point-to-point food inflation declined to 8.93 per cent, down from 9.24 per cent in February last, the BBS data showed.
Meanwhile, the non-food inflation rate showed a slight increase reaching 9.70 per cent in March, up from 9.38 per cent in February, 2025.
