Dhaka, Sept. 30 -- Pranay Kumar Verma, the Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh, visited the historic Durga Temple at Kumudini Homes in Mirzapur, Tangail, on Monday (29 September) evening. He was warmly received by the officials of Kumudini Welfare Trust with floral greetings.
During the visit, High Commissioner Verma emphasized the deep-rooted historical ties between Bangladesh and India. "Our friendship is built on shared cultural and religious values. We believe this exchange strengthens our bilateral relationship," he said. He assured that the ongoing visa-related complexities would be resolved very soon. "Currently, medical visas are already operational," he added.
