Dhaka, Feb. 5 -- Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam on Tuesday alleged that Indian media is engaged in a "propaganda war" against Bangladesh and its interim government.
He made the remark during a press briefing at the Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka this evening.
Alam, responding to a question, revealed that during his recent visit to Bangladesh, Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri denied that the Indian government was involved in spreading disinformation against Bangladesh.
However, Misri acknowledged that Indian media was actively engaged in such activities, asserting that the Indian government does not interfere in media operations.
