Dhaka, April 29 -- India Women's Cricket team beat Bangladesh Women's Cricket team by 44 runs in their first Twenty20 International (T20I) match at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Electing to bat first, India made a fighting total of 145 for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

In reply, Bangladesh scored 101 for the loss eight wickets in 20 overs.

Bangladesh faced an early debacle as they lost four wickets for 30 runs.
