Dhaka, Dec. 12 -- With the 2026 T20 World Cup (WC) just months away, participating teams have entered their final phase of preparation. Several sides have lined up multiple bilateral series to fine-tune their squads.
However, Bangladesh stands out worryingly; the Tigers have no T20I matches scheduled before the World Cup.
While teams like India and South Africa will play up to ten T20Is between December and January, Bangladesh will enter the global event without a single preparatory game, a concern increasingly voiced by fans and analysts.
India will have the busiest schedule heading into the tournament, playing five T20Is against South Africa in December 2025 followed by another five against New Zealand in January 2026.
