Dhaka, Oct. 4 -- India Women's Cricket team thrashed Malaysia Women's Cricket team by 30 runs (according to Duckworth/ Lewis Method) in their group match of the Women's T20 Asia Cup at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Academy Ground in Sylhet on Monday.

Batting first India piled up a mammoth total of 181 for the loss of four wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Later, the rain interrupted the match and Malaysia had a target of 47 runs to win in 5.2 overs. Malaysia scored 16 runs for the loss of two wickets in 5.2 overs.
