Dhaka, May 30 -- India has reiterated its call for Bangladesh to hold inclusive, fair, and free elections at the earliest possible date, emphasising the importance of reflecting the democratic will and mandate of its people.
The call comes amid growing political tensions in Bangladesh and demands from opposition parties for electoral reforms and a level playing field.The issue was raised during the weekly media briefing of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in New Delhi on Thursday.
