Dhaka, July 3 -- The much-awaited India-Pakistan showdown is expected to take place on September 7 during the Asia Cup 2025, which is likely to run from September 5 to 21 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), according to recent reports.

Despite rising political tensions following a deadly terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, the tournament is still expected to go ahead as planned.

With the UAE hosting all fixtures at a neutral venue and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) holding onto hosting rights, the iconic rivalry appears to be back on the schedule.
