Dhaka, April 6 -- A total of 29 Eidgah grounds, 112 khatibs, imams and muezzins in charge of various mosques have been given honorary allowances on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, at the initiative of Bonpara Municipality of Baraigram Upazila of Natore. Mayor KM Zakir Hossain gave a total of taka two lakh 49 thousand 500 to them at the Municipal Auditorium on Wednesday.
Among others, Municipal Executive Officer Ashraful Islam Bhuiyan, Executive Engineer Ataur Rahman, Accounting Officer Delwar Hossain, Bonpara Municipal Imam Welfare Association's President Principal Maulana Moazzem Hossain spoke there.
