Dhaka, Oct. 3 -- Dhallywood actor and founder of the Safe Roads Movement (NISCHA) Ilias Kanchan has been diagnosed with a brain tumour.

He has been undergoing treatment in London for five months. Ilias Kanchan's son Mirajul Islam Moin Joy announced this information in a video message at a press conference organised on the occasion of National Road Safety Day-2025 on October 1.

Ilias Kanchan had been suffering from various physical complications since the beginning of this year.

When his condition deteriorated, his family members took him to the doctor. After various tests, it was found that Ilias Kanchan had a tumour in his head.

Ilias Kanchan went to London on April 26 for advanced treatment. He is undergoing treatment there.
