Dhaka, Nov. 17 -- With the aim of providing the youth with basic knowledge of banking, cultivating a habit of saving and offering insights into financial management, IFIC Bank has organized a special workshop on financial literacy in Barisal under the guidance of Bangladesh Bank, as part of the "Festival of Youth 2025."

The workshop, held on November 12 in collaboration with the University of Barisal, took place at the university auditorium.

Presided over by Md Asiqur Rahman, acting chairman of the Department of Accounting & Information Systems, Barisal University, the program was attended by Modhusudan Banik, executive director of Bangladesh Bank, Barisal Office, as chief guest.
