Dhaka, Oct. 3 -- Amid the ongoing controversy over the demand for an 'eight-hour workday' in Bollywood, National Film Award-winning actress Rani Mukerji has shared her experience. Amid news of Deepika Padukone's exit from the sequel to 'Kalki', Rani opened up about her work-life balance.

Rani said that when she was shooting for 'Hichki' after the birth of her daughter Adira, Adira was 14 months old. She followed a strict routine to breastfeed her.

She would pump milk in the morning and, with the help of the unit and the director, would finish the shoot within 6 to 7 hours. This would allow her to return home by noon before the traffic started.
