Dhaka, April 16 -- The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has ordered Mohammad Sohael, former Director of the Legal and Media Wing of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), to appear before the court on June 18 in connection with a case involving crimes against humanity related to abduction and enforced disappearance.
The order was issued on Tuesday by the three-member tribunal headed by Chairman Justice Md. Golam Mortuza Majumder.
Following the order, Prosecutor Mizanul Islam told reporters: "Around 2012, RAB members abducted Golam Morturza Nihim, a member of Islami Chhatra Shibir, from Rabindra Sarobar in Dhanmondi.
