Dhaka, July 21 -- The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has granted investigators two more months to complete their probe into the alleged Uttara mass killing during last year's July uprising, setting 23 September as the new deadline for the final report.
The order came on Sunday from a three-member bench of Tribunal-1, headed by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Majumdar.
Among those accused in the case is former Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Atiqul Islam, along with nine other local Awami League leaders and activists.
