Dhaka, Sept. 2 -- Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul today said the government may form International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-3 to expedite trials of crimes, including enforced disappearance.
"We are giving the highest priority to the trial of crimes against humanity. We are committed to ensuring justice for all crimes committed by the previous government, including killings, enforced disappearances and torture," the Law Adviser told journalists after inspecting the ICT building and its adjoining areas this morning.
He further said, "Once the tin-shed building (now housing ICT-2) adjacent to the main tribunal building becomes vacant, we may establish ICT-3 there. If this can be done, trials of enforced disappear...
