Dhaka, March 24 -- The International Cricket Council (ICC) Women's World Cup (WC) One Day International (ODI) will be held in September in India. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed this matter on Saturday.
The fixture of the gala cricket tournament for women have not yet finalised.
If everything goes well the inaugural ceremony will be at Visakhapatnam. The opening match will be also take place there.
The other venues are: Mullanpur in Punjab, Indore in Madhya Pradesh, Thiruvananthapurnam in Kerela, Guwahati in Assam.
The Apex Council meeting of BCCI was held on Saturday and all these maters were finalised.
