Dhaka, Oct. 9 -- A decade ago, Sumaiya Shimu was immensely busy on the small screen. Viewers were captivated by the many dramas she acted in. However, after getting married, the actress has largely stepped away from acting. Her days are now spent with her husband, family, and children.

A few months ago, Shimu appeared in an OTT content project directed by Nuhash Humayun. Recently, she was seen at the special screening of the film Saba, starring Mehjabin Chowdhury. There, Shimu explained why she is no longer seen regularly in acting roles.
