Dhaka, April 11 -- A determined human chain protest took place on Thursday in front of Rangpur Agricultural Institute Tajhat, organised by DOPS, CLEAN, and BWGED, amplifying the demand for a swift transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources.
This demonstration was part of a broader nationwide movement, commemorating the Bashkhali movement of 2016, where six people tragically lost their lives resisting a destructive coal-based power plant project.
