Dhaka, Oct. 4 -- A human chain was formed in front of the National Press Club in Dhaka on Friday, demanding a fair investigation into the brutal murder of six-year-old Tayeba, who was a resident of Shakhipur in Shariatpur.
Professionals, students, parents, and concerned citizens from Sakhipur, who are living in Dhaka, formed the human chain to demand justice for Tayeba, reports UNB. Speakers at the human chain alleged that Ayesha Khatun killed her niece, Tayeba, over a family dispute and dumped her body in a septic tank on September 24.The child had remained missing for two days before locals found her half-decomposed body on September 26.
