Dhaka, Dec. 26 -- Severe traffic congestion has built up on the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway from Chittagong Road to Sonargaon. On Wednesday morning, a truck accident on the Langolbandh Bridge disrupted vehicle movement for a long time, leading to massive tailbacks. As a result, passenger buses, cargo trucks, and private vehicles remained stuck on the highway for hours until afternoon. Kanchpur Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abdul Kader Jilani said the incident occurred around 10:30 am when a truck lost control on the Langolbandh Bridge and crashed into the bridge railing.
