Dhaka, Oct. 18 -- The fire that broke out at the Cargo Village of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in Dhaka was brought under control partially, with the blaze remaining confined to the cargo area, officials said this evening.
Confirming the development, the airport's Executive Director's spokesperson Flight Lieutenant Md Masudul Hasan Masud told media this evening that the blaze was brought under control through the concerted efforts of all concerned. "Flight operations have been temporarily suspended. Further details will be shared later," he said.
