Dhaka, July 15 -- Millions of students and parents across Bangladesh are facing mounting anxiety over college admissions for the 2025-26 academic year, as the Ministry of Education has yet to announce a comprehensive plan to address seat surpluses, rising competition, and errors in SSC exam results.

This year, more than 3.3 million seats are available for admission into Class XI nationwide, yet only 1.3 million students passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations.
