Dhaka, Sept. 25 -- Presented by Kaniz Nira, the programme titled 'Smritimoy Gaangulo' on the evolution of Bengali songs is being aired on Bangladesh Television (BTV). Musician Syed Abdul Hadi will be the researcher and discussant of the programme.
The shooting of the new episode of the programme was completed at BTV's studio recently. In this programme, Homayra Bashir sang the song 'Aro Sohoje Tumi Aamake Kadate Parte' sung by Rokeya Siddiqa. The song was written by the late Nuruzzaman, and the tune and music were composed by the late Swapan Saha. The song was sung by vocalist Homayra Bashir, daughter of the late musician Bashir Ahmed, to pay tribute to them.
