Dhaka, Feb. 16 -- The holy Shab-e-Barat, the night of fortune, was observed throughout the country with due religious fervor and devotion Friday night.
On the occasion, the Islamic Foundation (IF) chalked out programs at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on Friday, reports BSS.
Under the IF initiative, Waz (religious sermons), doa-mahfils, special prayers, recitation from the Holy Quran and Hamd-Naat were held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque last evening.
Religious Affairs Adviser Dr AFM Khalid Hossain delivered an Islamic sermon at the Baitul Mukarram Mosque highlighting the significance of Shab-e-Barat.
