Dhaka, July 12 -- Bangladesh Under-20 Women's Football team made a high-flying start after thrashing Sri Lanka Under-20 Women's Football team by nine goals to one in their first match of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Under-20 Women's Championship at Bashundhara Kings Arena in the capital on Friday.
Bangladesh led the first half 3-0.
Sagorika of Bangladesh hit a hat-trick and her teammate Munki Akhter scored two goals and Sapna Rani, Sinha Jahan Shikha, Rupa Akter, Shanti Mardi netted one goal each.
On the other hand, Jasotharan Layansika pulled off one for the losers.
