Dhaka, Feb. 18 -- The Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court of Dhaka yesterday (Monday) fixed March 18 for hearing on charge framing in the sensational Abrar Fahad murder case.

Judge KM Imrul Qayes of the court passed the order, granting a time plea from complainant Abrar's father Barkat Ullah.

Earlier, on January 30, Monday was fixed for hearing on the charge framing in the case, but the complainant pleaded for time, saying that he would file a petition to transfer the case to a speedy trial tribunal of Dhaka. Thereafter, he filed the petition.

"Abrar's father yesterday pleaded to transfer the case to a speedy trial tribunal. We are hoping that Ministry would soon issue a gazette notification for transferring the case," Dhaka metropolitan...
