Dhaka, April 9 -- Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque on Tuesday urged medical professionals to work with more dedication and sincerity to contain the spread of COVID-19 as the whole world is battling against coronavirus pandemic to protect the mankind from the fatal disease.
"We all have to work together to fight COVID-19 as the people of almost all countries in the world have been infected by the deadly virus," he made the comment on Tuesday while inaugurating the programme through online marking the 'World Health Day at the Directorate General of Health Service (DGHS) in the city, an official press release said.
This year's theme of the day is "SUPPORT NURSES AND MIDWIVES", the release added.
