Dhaka, July 11 -- The High Court has issued an order directing Barishal University (BU) authorities to reinstate the studentship of Jannatul Naureen Urmi, a student of the Mathematics Department (2015-16 session) and the Central Assistant General Secretary of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD).
A High Court bench comprising Justice Fatema Nazib and Justice Md Hamidur Rahman passed the order on Monday. The court instructed the university administration to restore Naureen's studentship within four weeks.
