Dhaka, July 24 -- Hasnat Abdullah, chief organiser for the southern region of the Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP), has called for the resignation of the current health adviser, accusing her appointment of being a product of nepotism linked to Dr Muhammad Yunus.
Addressing a rally at the Chandpur bus stand, Abdullah criticised the adviser's performance, describing it as inadequate and unworthy of the position. "This health adviser was appointed through what can only be described as a 'brotherhood quota' connected to Dr Yunus," he said. "We have repeatedly stated that there is no need for this position.
