Dhaka, Aug. 3 -- Chief Prosecutor Tajul Islam on Sunday asserted that the evidence against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the July-August mass uprising case is so "clear and compelling" that the trial will leave no room for doubt.
As the prosecution began its formal opening statement before International Crimes Tribunal-1, Tajul Islam laid out the investigation findings and outlined the major charges related to alleged crimes against humanity committed during the uprising.
"The evidence of Sheikh Hasina's involvement in suppressing the July uprising is so strong and explicit that there will not be the slightest doubt throughout the trial," Tajul told the tribunal.
