Dhaka, April 4 -- Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus on Friday discussed key bilateral concerns with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the BIMSTEC Summit, including the extradition of deposed prime minister Sheikh Hasina, water sharing of common rivers, and border killings.

Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam briefed reporters after the meeting, reports UNB.

"All issues of mutual interests were discussed. The meeting was very constructive, productive and fruitful," Alam said.

The bilateral talks on the sidelines of the BIMSTEC Summit is viewed as the most significant development in Dhaka-Delhi relations since the July Uprising in Bangladesh.
