Dhaka, Dec. 18 -- The great Victory Day was celebrated on December 16 in Parshuram with due dignity and through various programmes.
On Tuesday , the upazila administration celebrated the day by firing 31 cannons at sunrise, laying wreaths at the Bilonia Liberation War Memorial and paying floral tributes at the Shaheed Altar.
At 9 am, at the Parshuram Pilot High School ground, under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sadia Sharmin, with the overall cooperation of Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) SM Shafayat Akhter Noor, a national flag hoisting, parade and exhibition were held to mark the celebration of the great Victory Day.
