Dhaka, April 25 -- The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has conducted two separate mobile court drives in Dhanmondi and Badda areas of Dhaka to control air pollution. On Thursday, the drives were led by Siddhartha Shankar Kundu, Deputy Secretary and Executive Magistrate, and Sadia Islam Luna, Senior Assistant Secretary and Executive Magistrate, a ministry press release said today. In Dhanmondi Road No. 2, a mobile court, led by Deputy Secretary Siddhartha Shankar Kundu, penalised the owner of an under-construction building opposite City College, adjacent to Popular Diagnostic Centre, for keeping construction materials in open spaces violating the Air Pollution (Control) Rules, 2022.
