Dhaka, Dec. 2 -- Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul said he is not aware of any legal barrier preventing BNP's acting chairman Tarique Rahman from returning to Bangladesh."If there is any such obstacle, and if we are informed, we will certainly provide full cooperation. We will also take every possible measure regarding his security," he said.

The adviser made the remarks while speaking to reporters at his office in the Ministry of Law at the Secretariat on Monday.

Asif Nazrul said, "In my view, it is entirely up to him to decide what the right time is. I believe he will return to the country at an appropriate time."

The law adviser added, "Many of us often comment on why Tarique Rahman is not returning home...
