Dhaka, Sept. 23 -- The government will provide the best possible treatment and full support to the firefighters injured in the chemical warehouse fire in Tongi, said Home Affairs Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury on Tuesday.

"The National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery (NIBPS) is providing international-standard treatment and the doctors here are doing everything they can. Please pray for their quick recovery. The Fire Service, Home Ministry and the government will provide all necessary support for their treatment," he said.
