Dhaka, Aug. 27 -- The government is determined to restore and enrich the Shubhachaya Canal by removing encroachments and ensuring environmental purity, as declared by Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Adviser to the Ministry of Water Resources, during a recent project inauguration in Keraniganj.Speaking at the event, Rizwana Hasan emphasised the crucial role of the Shubhachaya Canal in connecting the Buriganga and Dhaleshwari rivers, underscoring its unique environmental and ecological significance.
