Dhaka, Oct. 5 -- Police have rescued a government official named Mehedi Hasan (42), two days after he was abducted in a honey trap in Savar, Dhaka. At the same time, four members of the abduction gang, including a woman, have been arrested.The arrested persons were sent to court on Saturday afternoon. Earlier, they were detained from the Jamsing neighborhood of the municipality area.Rescued Mehedi Hasan is a Family Planning Inspector of Chitalmari upazila in Bagerhat district.The arrested members of the abduction gang are: Shariful (25), son of Joynal of Pirgacha police station in Rangpur district; Md.
