Dhaka, March 9 -- The government has confirmed that all civil servants employed in government, semi-government, and autonomous bodies, as well as members of the armed forces, will receive their salaries for the month of March along with the Eid-ul-Fitr bonus on March 23.

The finance ministry issued an order in this regard on Sunday. The retirement allowance for the month of March will also be given to the pensioners on March 23, the ministry said.

The order has been issued according to the given power under the Subsidiary Rules (SR) 113 (2) of the Bangladesh Treasury Rules.
