Dhaka, Dec. 11 -- The nominations for the 2026 Golden Globe Awards were announced on Monday, marking the start of Hollywood's award season and setting the stage for the Oscars in March.

This year's shortlists highlight the biggest films, series and performances across drama, comedy, animation and international categories. Winners will be declared on 11 January.

In film, Frankenstein, Hamnet, The Secret Agent, Sentimental Value and Sinners lead the drama lineup. The comedy and musical list includes titles like Blue Moon, Bugonia, Marty Supreme and One Battle After Another.

It Was Just an Accident, No Other Choice and Sirat feature among the top non-English entries, while Zootopia 2, Elio and Arco compete for best animated film.
