Dhaka, Oct. 7 -- Gold prices in Bangladesh have been raised once again. This time, the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has increased the price of 22-carat gold by Tk 3,150 per bhori, setting the new price at Tk 200,726 - the highest in the country's history.
The information was announced in a BAJUS press release on Monday night, stating that the new rates will take effect from Tuesday (October 7). According to the statement, the price of refined (pure) gold has increased in the local market. Considering the overall situation, new rates have been set for gold.
