Dhaka, May 22 -- A massive sacrificial cow named Foni-2, weighing approximately 30 maunds (roughly 1,200 kg), is drawing attention in Banaripara upazila of Barishal district for its extraordinary size and daily diet.
Owned by Abdus Salam and his son Shakil Suman of Jangalia village under Chakhar union, Foni-2 consumes nearly 70 kilograms of food per day-excluding grass. The cow measures an impressive 12 feet in length and 6 feet in height.
Named after Cyclone Foni, which struck the region in 2019, the cow has been lovingly raised over three years by the family.
