Dhaka, April 21 -- Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a fugitive death-row convict conducting a raid in Darus Salam Thana area of Mirpur here around 4 pm on Friday.
RAB sources said the arrestee is M. Mamun, 29, son of M. Alam of Bogura Sadar Police Station who was convicted of an auto-rickshaw driver murder case in Bogura, reports BSS.
RAB-2 Senior Assistant Director (Media) Shihab Karim confirmed the incident to BSS on Saturday morning.
According to the case, on April 9, 2018, the victim Saidul Islam went to Jaipurpara with a passenger from Dattabari in the evening and went missing.
