Dhaka, June 1 -- The government has revised fuel prices, lowering the cost of diesel, octane, and petrol while raising the price of kerosene. The new rates take effect from midnight on Sunday, as per a notification from the Energy and Mineral Resources Division issued on Saturday.

Under the latest adjustment, diesel is reduced by Tk 2 per litre, bringing the new price to Tk 102 from the previous Tk 104. Octane and petrol are each reduced by Tk 3 per litre, now costing Tk 122 and Tk 118 respectively, down from Tk 125 and Tk 121.
