Dhaka, March 6 -- The price of fuel oil will be adjusted in accordance with the international market as Prime Minister already given her approval in this regard.
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid came up with this while talking to reporters after the session of the concerned ministries on the third day of the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) Conference at Osmani Udyan in the city on Tuesday.
"A formula has been made. We have already received approval from the Prime Minister in this regard.
We will publish the adjusted fuel oil price though a gazette notification this week," he said.
If the fuel price falls in Bangladesh, there is a fear of smuggling across the border, the State Minister said.
