Dhaka, April 17 -- The government through National Legal Aid Services Organization (NLASO) from 2009 to March, 2025, has provided free legal advices to 4, 74,618 justice seekers.

Confirming the matter through its monthly update on the NLASO website, the statutory organization of the government under the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, said 2,41,343 people were given legal advices from its legal aid offices in 64 districts, reports BSS.

"A total of 1, 86,268 people received legal advices by calling on the national toll free helpline number 16430, while 25,581 people got the service from Supreme Court Legal Aid Office," it added.
