Dhaka, July 23 -- A court has ordered the freezing of 38 bank accounts belonging to former Chief of the Bangladesh Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Sheikh Abdul Hannan, his wife Tahmida Begum, and their son Sheikh Labib Hannan.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib issued the order on Saturday following a petition from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), confirmed Akhtarul Islam, spokesperson of the ACC.

According to him, of the 38 accounts, five are in the name of Sheikh Abdul Hannan, one in the name of his son Sheikh Labib Hannan, and the remaining 32 are in the name of his wife Tahmida Begum.
