Dhaka, Oct. 26 -- Nearly 29 years after the tragic death of iconic film actor Salman Shah, a murder case has finally been filed against his former wife Samira Haque and 10 others. To prevent the accused from leaving the country, police have sent their details to the immigration authorities.

Confirming the development to reporters on Saturday (October 25), Ramna Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Golam Faruk said, "The murder case has been filed following a court directive. A total of 11 named and several unidentified persons have been made accused. The investigation has already begun."

The OC added that law enforcement agencies are tracing the whereabouts of the 11 accused, some of whom may currently be outside Bangladesh.
