Dhaka, Sept. 15 -- Bangladesh is attending an emergency Arab-Muslim summit being held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, in response to the recent Israeli airstrikes and to adopt a draft resolution against the Israeli attack.
Foreign Affairs Adviser M Touhid Hossain, who has already reached Doha on Sunday, will attend the summit scheduled to be held on Monday.
"Foreign Adviser arrived in Qatar this morning to attend the two-day Emergency Joint Arab-Islamic Summit," Foreign Ministry said on Sunday.
He is leading the Bangladesh delegation. Additional Foreign Secretary M Forhadul Islam, Bangladesh Permanent Representative to the OIC MJH Jabed and Bangladesh Ambassador to Qatar Hazrat Ali Khan also attended the meeting.
